April

Although the April meeting didn’t have formal Show & Tell photography, we did manage to capture this beautiful set of 12 2-ounce silver rounds depicting North American wildlife.

The 1980 Lake Placid Olympic Participation Medal (OPM), a particularly spectacular example of the OPM’s awarded to athletes (and sometimes officials and other people) at all modern Olympic Games from 1896 until 2018.

Austria 1780-dated Maria Theresa Thaler (modern restrike with attractive toning). These have about the same amount of silver as U.S. silver dollars.
