1915 Austria 4 Ducat gold coin, depicting Emperor Franz Joseph I on the obverse, and the crowned imperial double eagle on the reverse. These coins were minted as restrikes from 1915 to 1936, and are common, but contain about 0.44 Troy ounces of gold. Catalog: KM# 2276.

Morgan Dollar raffle prizes: 1878-S and 1882-O. (One awarded in August.)




1948 Mexico 5 pesos 90% silver coin (sold to benefit club). / 2005-S proof Sacagawea dollar (raffle prize).


1899 One Dollar “Black Eagle” Silver Certificate in nice, circulated condition!

“American Legends” / “Buffalo Nickel” souvenir item (containing Nevada Statehood Centennial postage stamp), also available at the Humboldt County Museum gift shop.

A “filled die” Lincoln Cent. The die filled with grease or debris (causing a weak strike) in several places, including “IN GOD”, “LI”, and the last two digits of the date.

1916 dime, 1913 Gold Quarter Eagle (2 1/2 Dollar coin) and 1880 Liberty Seated Quarter Collar. The dime was a raffle prize; the other two show & tell.


1867-1967 Colorado Cattlemen’s Association centennial medal.




Four coins with some type of modification or possibly error. The added portrait of Kennedy was done outside of the mint (these were common inexpensive souvenirs), but what about the others? You decide.
