Suntree Village was open for our July-August 2021 meetings, but has now closed again. Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. (We are currently having more online meetings, which begin at 7:00 p.m.) Also see the president's message.

Meeting Dates and Locations! The BCCOCO normally meets alternate months in Redmond and Bend, except as noted. See our calendar (or the information below) for complete details. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tueday, unless otherwise announced. Driving directions are posted on our calendar page. There are usually no club meetings in July or August, although we did meet in July and August 2021. Also see the president's message.

Completed Club Events:

The club held an online meeting on December 14, 2021, with six members in attendance, which was once again enough for some interesting discussion. Two raffle prizes were awarded.

The club held an online meeting on November 9, 2021, with six members in attendance, which was enough for some interesting discussion. Two raffle prizes were awarded.

The club held brief online meetings on both October 12 and 19, 2021, however attendance was low. Nonetheless there was some good discussion.

The club held an online meeting on September 28, 2021, and six members participated. There was some good discussion about proof nickels from the early 1950s, which may be undergraded when found in the old "rattler" PCGS holders.

The club held a summer special meeting at Suntree Village in Bend on August 10. Eric gave a presentation on "Olympic Participation Medals of the Summer Games."

The club held its first in-person meeting since March 2020 on July 13, 2021. Although there was no formal program, everyone enjoyed getting together again, and there was a successful raffle with five prizes awarded, and an auction.

The club held online meetings on June 8 and 29, 2021, with the second meeting one week later than normal. Both meetings had good participation - let's keep it up! Photos: Bryan Dollar from the June virtual show-and-tell.

The club held online meetings on May 11 and 25, 2021. Both were lively meetings with six participants each time, and prizes were awarded.

The club held online meetings on April 13 and 27, 2021. Although there were only four participants each time, there was some more excellent discussion of various topics. A few virtual show-and-tell items are available to view from these meetings or earlier this year: April.

The club held online meetings on March 9 and 30, 2021, with six to seven participants each time. There was some excellent discussion of various topics.

The club held online meetings on February 9 and 23, 2021, with a small improvement in attendance. We'll keep trying! At the Feb. 23 meeting, two prizes were awarded from the club's inventory via a random selection. At the Feb. 9 meeting, Sterling recommended the following two books: (1) Treasure Hunting Buffalo Nickels (cover shown) by John Wexler, Ron Pope and Kevin Flynn, first edition 1999 by Stanton Printing & Publishing. (2) Over Mintmarks and Hot Repunched Mintmarks, by Flynn and Wexler, first edition 2003 by Brooklyn Galleries Coins & Stamps, Inc.

The club held online meetings on January 12 and 26, 2021, but attendance was low. We'll try again in February with at least one week advance notice.
