Left: 1976-D Eisenhower Bicentennial Dollar, Type I.
Right: 1976-D Eisenhower Bicentennial Dollar, Type II (thinner letters).
The mintage of both types combined was over 100 million (at Denver),
but nice mint state examples can be worth a sizable premium today.
These two coins were photographed for Paul's talk on "Collecting Eisenhhower Dollars."
